LKA Championship Show 15th December 2018
This was the puppies first Championship show.
First up was Casper - Shanshal Prince of Arabia who in MPD in class of 5 got 2nd and in PD gained 1st! so he has qualified for Crufts at his first attempt.
Next up was Lisa and Pixie - Shanshal Queen of Sheba at Chinois get 2nd in MPB so Pixie has also qualified for Crufts at her first attempt.
We are very proud of these 2 pups and how well they are doing. Well done to Mandy and Lisa.
Guildford & District Canine Society Open Show 8th December 2018
This was Lisa and Pixie's 1st show. At a very cold Ardingly Pixie pulled out all of the stops to get 1st AVNSC Puppy, Best AVNSC Puppy and then onto a fantastic Toy Puppy Group 1! Well done what a start to her show career.
Burton on Trent Open Show 2nd December 2018
Casper had a great 1st show, entered in Junior as there was no puppy class. He gained a respectable 2nd place.
A massive well done to Mandy and Casper. What a great way to start his show career.
Chinese Crested Dog Club Champioship Show 5th August 2018
We had a lovely day at the club show. First up was Shannon in the Adult Handling, handling Lacie (who is 11 this year!) the pair came 1st in Adult Handling and then went onto take Best Handler in Show! Bubbles - Shanshal Made in Essex was in Post Graduate where in a class of 11 she takes another 1st place! Binky - Champion Shanshal Hot Tottie at Chinois and Lisa was in Open and gained 1st Place! Lacie - then goes onto take 2nd in Veteran and then gets a special rosette for Oldest Veteran In Show! it was a lovely day spent with great friends.
Bubble's critique from Crufts 2018
1st Post Graduate Bitch - 15 entries Roberts Shanshal Made In Essex. Mahogany Pink lace. Smaller type full of quality. Excellent skin and condition. Very well furnished. Scores on head, eye and temperament. Lovely on the move.
Solana's critique from Crufts 2018
1st Open Bitch, 1st Good Citizen, Best Bitch & RBOB - 8 entries. Roberts & Cawley's IMA Little Miss Sunshine. A superb Grand female. Beautiful headed, good reach of the neck. Superb shoulders, forechest and front. Well balanced deep body. Feminine, powerful, elegant and correct from every angle.
A BIG thanks to judge Tamas Jakkel for thinking so high of Solana.

Wickford and Basildon Open Show 19th May 2018
It was a lovely sunny day at one of our local shows. In a great entry of Import Breeds, Solana - IMA Little Miss Sunshine takes 1st Open and BOB Import! The judge Keith Baldwin, was shocked to hear that Solana is over 7 years old. A BIG thank you to him for appreciating Solana.
CRUFTS 8th -11th March 2018
We had a fantastic day at Crufts this year!
1st up in the Chinese Crested ring in Hall 5 Joey - Shanshal Essex Boy JW and Vicki get 5th GCD.
Next up was Bubbles - Shanshal Made In Essex and she takes 1st Post Graduate in a class of 15!
Then a mad rush over to Hall 2 for the Import Register classes under judge Dr T Jakkel (Hungry).
Solana - IMA Little Miss Sunshine (who is now 7 years old!) in the largest class of the day Open bitch gets 1st and then in Good Citizen also takes a 1st.
She then goes onto take BEST BITCH and the onto RESERVE BEST OF BREED!
On Gundog day. In the Chesapeake Bay Retriever ring. Shannon handled Kracken - Petsalls Pride Buckeye to 1st Post Graduate. Yogi - Puntgunner Tide Bear to 3rd Limit dog. In Post Graduate Bitch - Petsalls Pride Blossom to 5th. Rose - Petsalls Pride Box - 1st Limit Bitch and then Mae - Petsalls Pride Ash 3rd Open Bitch!
We are very proud of what all of these dogs achieved this year at Crufts.
East Kent CS 4th February 2018
The first show of the year for Bubbles and Squirrel.
In a big entry of 14 cresteds! Bubbles - Shanshal Made In Essex takes 1st Post Grad, Squirrel - Shanshal Well Jel JW takes 2nd Open and the Joey - Shanshal Essex Boy JW takes 4th in Open. Bubbles then goes onto take BOB and then in the Toy Group out of 9 she was awarded Toy Group 3! A big thank you to judge Steven Seymour.
What a great way to start the year for Bubbles.

Under Breed Specialist Naomi Cowley, Joey - Shanshal Essex Boy JW gets 2nd in Open and called back in for RBOB.
